Two Iranian films to be submitted to Iran's Fajr filmfest

Iran's producer Masoud Redai has announced that Iranian social films 'Figure' and 'Sophomore Year of My School' would be submitted to Iran's Fajr Film Festival.

Redai said the two movies would be submitted to the 37th edition of Fajr Film Festival, which is slated to take place in Iran February 1-11, 2019.

According to the producer, the social movie 'Figure' is directed by Pouya Parsa Moqaddam, while 'Sophomore Year of My School' is made by Rasoul Sadr Ameli.

Redai noted that Sadr Ameli’s film, written by Parviz Shahbazi, was supposed to be released in Iranian movie theaters this month, but a later decision said it would be prepared for the participation in Fajr.

The film's cast includes Babak Hamidiyan, Vishka Asayesh, Shaqayeq Farahani and Maryam Boubani.
